Dalpol Yacht Yard began its operations in 1998. In the beginning, most of the company?s work included repairing and finishing various types of yachts. After three years of learning and gaining new skills and experience, we decided to start our own manufacture of sailing yachts. Opportunity knocked on our door in 2001, when we purchased the mould for Focus 690 and started a close cooperation with Jerzy Pieśniewski, D Eng a design engineer who is known not only for many successful designs but also for his active participation in sailing races.
The small sailing yacht Phobos 22 is the sportiest of the Phobos model series. It has a lower freeboard than the more than the more comfort-trimmed models. Despite its small exterior dimensions, it is surprisingly spacious and comfortable. Yacht DE found it to be fast, interesting and able to sail with gusting winds. It was designed both for tourist and racing sailing. It can be offered in a different keel version like a centreboard and daggerboard as well.
